Falkland Cricket Club Annual Dinner

Our guests this year are Ian Cockbain and Toby Radford. Some of you of a certain age may recall playing against one or both of them in their early careers. Liverpool born Ian first played for Bootle playing with his father and then Lancashire 2nds before becoming an MCC Young Cricketer for 3 years. He joined Gloucestershire CCC in late 2010 making a maiden first class century against Middlesex in 2011 and hitting a match winning 78 off 46 balls in only his second T20 innings. His made his highest first class score, an unbeaten 151, to secure an unlikely draw against Surrey in 2014. In 2018 he smashed 123 off 61 balls in a T20 match at Bristol against Middlesex. Ian has been awarded a testimonial in 2019 and all monies raised from our dinner will be donated to his fund. Toby Radford spent his early career representing Middlesex, Sussex and Berkshire he moved into coaching with both Middlesex and Glamorgan. He is currently in his second spell as part of the West Indies coaching team. The evening will also feature a contribution from our President Pat Neate. Entertainment and amusement are therefore guaranteed!
