Congratulations to Falkland Women’s 1st XI player Ava Lee on not just making her debut for the England U19’s today, but also for taking 4-19 against Sri Lanka.
Ava joined the Falkland set up as an U11 and has since played in all of our age group teams up to U19, and was a key part of the Falkland Women’s 1st XI last year helping us finish top of the Home Counties Premier League in 2023.
As a club we are extremely proud to have been a part of her journey and wish her every success for the remainder of her England tour.
The girls section at Falkland continues to grow with more girls than ever involved. We are sure that Ava will provide real inspiration for some of our younger members.
