2019 Outdoor Junior Coaching
As summer draws near, Falkland Cricket Club welcomes children of all ages and abilities to develop their cricket skills, make new friends and have fun at our excellent facilities in front of The Bowlers Arms, Wash Common. With ECB qualified coaches for all age groups, the emphasis is on learning cricket skills through fun. Why not come and see what we are all about? Due to the fun lots of boys have, some age groups are now full - do contact us but you may need to go onto a waiting list.
This summer Falkland is trialling Family Membership which gives both the boy and a legal parent associate membership of the club. This Family Membership costs £70 for the 2019 summer season. Please complete the Membership Form and return to Richard Langdon by (preferably) bringing a completed copy to the registration desk at a Monday session or, alternatively, by returning it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Outdoor cricket sessions, for all boys age groups, commence on Monday 29th April 2019 at Falkland Cricket Club. Times as follows:
U9 (school years 3/4) from 18.00 to 19.00
U11 (school years 5/6) from 18.00 to 19.00
U13 (school years 7/8) to 19.00 to 20.00
U15 (school years 9/10) from 19.000 to 20.00
On Saturday mornings we will also run the action-packed All Stars Cricket programme for boys and girls aged 5 to 8, starting Saturday 18th May 2019 from 09.30 to 10.30 for 8 weeks. To register or for more information search ‘ECB ALL STARS’.
U9's will be using softer balls for all training and matches but for all other age groups hard balls will be introduced/used. As such please bring any kit you may have as necessary. However, please do not let lack of kit prevent your boy joining in and having fun! If there is anybody who, for whatever reason, would rather not purchase any kit at the moment then we have a range of spare kit available.
