Falkland Women's Cricket

The story so far:

Following the huge success of the Falkland Girls Junior section over the last 9 years, the club launched its first full Women’s team in 2021.

In 2021 we entered the Home Counties Women's Cricket league (now consisting of 45 teams over four Divisions). In our first year of this league we finished top of our division, managing to win the League Play Off Final to secure promotion in to the Premier Division

In 2022 with twelve competitive teams in the Premier division we secured fourth place, just a point away from third.

In 2023 we won the league.

In 2024 we look forward to defending it!

As we look to increase our cricket offering, 2024 also sees the introduction of competitive softball cricket at Falkland.

As a progressive, friendly and young club we are always looking for more Women with hardball and softball experience to come and join us.

Training is on Friday evenings and matches are normally played on Sundays through the Summer.
