Falkland Cricket Club is located on Enborne Street in Wash Common, Newbury, Berkshire. Founded in 1884, we are proud of our long history and fortunate to enjoy two picturesque grounds, positioned close together on the south‑west edge of Newbury. We receive fantastic support from our local community and work closely with them to provide cricket for all.

We are an inclusive and welcoming club, open to players of all ages and abilities, senior or junior, male or female, and from every background and ethnicity.

Senior Cricket

Our men’s senior section is one of the most active in the region, running:

  • Five competitive Saturday teams
  • Two Sunday teams
  • Two midweek teams

For the 2026 season, our sides will compete in the following leagues:

  • 1st XI – Thames Valley League Division 1
  • 2nd XI – Thames Valley League Division 3A
  • 3rd XI – Thames Valley League Division 5A
  • 4th XI – Thames Valley League Division 8A
  • 5th XI – Thames Valley League Division 9A

Our 5th XI, known as the Development XI, is specifically designed to help young players transition into senior competitive cricket.
