The First XI's unbeaten start to the season ended with a 45 run loss to Tring Park CC. 2 wickets a piece from Elliot Seddon and James Bird had helped restrict the visitors to 219-8 from their 50 overs as each of the 6 bowlers used picked up a wicket. The Second XI tied a thrilling game against Royal Ascot's 1st XI as despite a brilliant 33 run 10th wicket stand between Captain Duncan Johnson and Mathew Bond the visitors weren't quite able to get over the line. Earlier Bond's 3-47 had helped restrict Ascot to 201 and 57 from Jimmy Ettridge had set Falkland on their way but as wickets fell it was left to Bond and Johnson to almost steal victory from the jaws of defeat.
