Congratulations to the U13 Girls team who secured top spot in the league with an unblemished 100% record on Sunday!

The Pink Army have been in scintillating form, reflected by having Lucy M and Izzy G in the league’s top 10 batters and bowlers this season.

Of course it has been a team effort with a total of 19 players contributing and more squad players taking part in other games too.

This group of girls have shown up to training, worked hard on drills, listened to advice and acted upon it. We’ve had a range of girls take on the captaincy and this responsibility has been supported by each team selected.

In short, they’ve been an absolute delight to coach and their team spirit is testament to them and their togetherness. They have been a real credit to the club, playing with spirit, determination but also with a smile or supportive words for each other.

With many moving up an age group next year our final game will be 1st vs 2nd and we are hungry for silverware!
