Get ready for a sparkling night of fun and festivities as the much-loved Wash Common Annual Fireworks Display returns to Falkland Cricket Club on Wednesday November 5.

And this year, it’s even more exciting with live music from local band Minor Inconvenience!

Gates open at 5.30pm, so come early and soak up the atmosphere! Enjoy delicious bites from our BBQ and food stalls, sip on something warm or refreshing from our drinks outlets and licensed bar and let the music set the tone for a fantastic evening. Minor Inconvenience will kick off the entertainment at 6.30pm, with their dynamic style and crowd-pleasing tunes.

The bonfire will be lit at 7.15pm, followed by a dazzling fireworks display at 7.45pm. And the fun doesn’t stop there – Minor Inconvenience will return for a final set to keep the party going!

This is more than just a fireworks night – it’s a celebration of community. All proceeds go towards supporting Falkland Cricket Club’s charitable work, including inclusive sports and community activities for people of all abilities.

Families welcome! There’ll be fairground amusements and activities to keep the little ones entertained, plus plenty of food and drink options for all ages.

Advance tickets are strongly recommended to guarantee entry and avoid higher prices on the night. Tickets are available daily from The Bowler’s Arms (at Falkland Cricket Club) from noon until Tuesday, November 4.

• Family (2 adults + 2 children or 1 adult + 3 children): £26
• Under 5s: Free
On-the-day prices (subject to availability):
• Individual (5+ years): £12
• Family: £32
• Under 5s: Still free!

Parking is free but limited on the club’s second ground (200m from the main site). If driving is essential, please arrive by 6.30pm and follow diversion signs. Locals are encouraged to walk and visitors are kindly asked not to park in nearby residential roads.

For safety reasons, please do not bring sparklers.
