Call ups to Berkshire and Hampshire county pathway programmes for girls from U11, U13 & U15 age groups

Following a great summer on the field, the Falkland Cricket Club U13 Girls' squad is celebrating several young players earning prestigious county recognition for winter programmes and beyond. The hard work, dedication and skill shown by these girls throughout the season have earned them a place in various county squads, and the club is incredibly proud of their achievements.

The following players have been selected to join the Berkshire U13 Girls' County Performance Squad:
• Lucy M
• Izzy G

Their selection to this highly competitive squad is a testament to their talent and perseverance, as well as their commitment to improving their cricketing skills. Both Lucy and Izzy have demonstrated outstanding performances on the field throughout the season.

In addition, several Falkland girls have also earned spots in the U13 Winter Programme, which will further develop their abilities ahead of next season. These players include:

• Amelia Q
• Caragh T
• Grace G

The U13 Winter Programme is an exciting opportunity for these girls to refine their technique and gain valuable experience that will help propel them into the next level of competitive cricket. Their selection reflects not only their current potential, but their ambition to continue growing as players.

Hope L has been selected for the U11 Winter Programme. Hope has shown incredible promise in her early years of cricket and will now have the chance to hone her skills with other talented players at a county level.

There are also call ups to the Hampshire County Pathways. Issy G has made it through to the Hampshire U15s Winter Training Squad and Mya P to the U13 age group. This is brilliant for both girls, who have been consistently developing their game at club level. Being selected is a significant achievement and a clear indication of the girls' potentials.

The success of these young players is a reflection of the strong foundations being laid at Falkland Cricket Club. Their achievements not only highlight the club's commitment to developing young female cricketers, but also inspire the next generation of girls to pursue the sport at a higher level.

The entire club is immensely proud of the girls who have been selected for county programmes this year and looks forward to seeing more of their players follow in their footsteps. With talented young players like Lucy, Izzy, Amelia, Caragh, Grace, Hope, Mya and Issy paving the way, the future of girls' cricket at Falkland Cricket Club is bright.

Congratulations to all the players on their well-deserved recognition, and we look forward to their continued success in the coming seasons!
